Get Out Your Umbrellas.

There’s been a change. As I walked into the studio for the first session of this project, I decided, almost immediately, that the project would be called, “BACK AGAIN”. It made sense. First of all, here I was, back in the studio again – still pursuing my dream. Besides, the song “Back Again” is a very solid tune. It always receives a very positive response whenever I perform it live. So, use that for the album name. However, another song has taken its place. It doesn’t have any symbolism associated with it, but it is a very strong, very memorable, and marketable song. Coincidentally, it is also one of the earliest written songs of this new batch.

Let It Rain. I’d much rather have sunshine, but rain… A bit soulful, maybe even gospel-like… Hammond B-3, bluesy guitar, back-up vocals (album version), a slightly gravelly voice, and a fadeout that should leave you wanting more…

“Let it rain
– Darkened clouds don’t bother me – That’s how I’ve come to expect it to be
– But when it rains through sunny skies,
I just can’t see it for the tears in my eyes.”

Yeah, you may never feel so good about feeling so bad. Get ready for the rain, because it IS coming. The single will be out on iTunes May 12, 2014!

  • Robert C Fullerton: guitars/bass/vocals
  • Isaac Young: organ
  • George Mastrogiannis: drums/percussion

You ready?
